Ayelet Zurer
Ayelet Zuer, an Israeli actress, has
been praised for her performance. Born in Tel Aviv in 1967, she was first
noticed by Hollywood when she was chosen to play the role of Eric Bana's wife
in the Oscar(r), nominated movie Munich (2005). Zurer is an American actress
who has been featured in Studio films, including Sony Pictures' Vantage Point
featuring Dennis Quaid (with William Hurt) Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive pieces
opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected with Jeff Goldblum
and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons, opposite Tom Hanks, Darling
Companion, a Lawrence Kasdan ensemble with Diane Keaton, Kevin Kline and Warner
Bros. Man Of Steel in the role of Russell Crow. She was a part of Rodrigo
Garcia, Last days in the desert, which she starred in alongside Ewan McGregor,
as well as waiting for the release of her movie The Last Knights by the
Japanese director Kazuaki Kiriya, who is also starring Clive Owen. Recently,
she won the Gold Nymph Award for Outstanding actress in the Drama Series at the
54th Festival of Television in Monte-Carlo in recognition of her role in the
show "Hostages". Ayelet was awarded the Israeli Film And Television
Academy Award for her lead performance in Nina's Tragedies. Ayelet was also nominated
in the category of her performances in films Only Dogs Run Free and The Dybuk
from Holy Apple Field, Desperado and Rutenberg. Zurer was awarded the Haifa
International Film Festival critic prize and received a star on Haifa’s
"film boulevard" for her international and local accomplishments.
Zurer also took home the Israeli Television Academy Award for her leading role
in "In Treatment,"" an extremely acclaimed television show that
was adapting by HBO for American television. In 2014 She was nominated for an
apposite performance for the year's top drama "Shtisel" and was
awarded the prize for the best actress in a dramatic for her portrayal of a
brilliant surgeon confronted with the death and life dilemma in Hostages and
was later sold to BBC4 and Canal Plus, and as an original format for the
American ABC. Golbary is one of Israel's leading fashion brands for women. It
is the "face" of Golbary. Ayelet is a producer as well as a writer.
Ayelet has worked on a handful of her projects in Israel as well as in the US and
expressed an interest in working with international directors from all over,
including unknown writers/directors.
